Deep Tissue Massage - involve slower movements, more pressure, and deeper contact of the areas with tension and pain. Focuses on realigning deep layers of tissue and muscle. Deep Tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage, but the therapist uses more intense pressure and focuses on specific adhesions or knots.
Reflexology Massage – focus on massaging ears, hands, and feet to treat dysfunctions of the body organs that are triggered by these locations.
Sports Massage — works on the connective tissue and deep muscle structures using hard and deep strokes, combined with finger pressure. Sports massage is specifically designed to increase flexibility and prevent injuries.
Swedish Massage - increases blood circulation to more than four times its normal rate to release the stagnant toxins stored in the muscle fibers. The result is fresh oxygenated blood flow into the muscles, that boosts energy levels.
Pre-natal/Pregnancy Massage - reduces swelling in the arms and legs, and relieves pain in the back, joints, and muscles. Studies have shown that massage therapy can contribute to mood regulation and improves cardiovascular health for pregnant women.
Shiatsu Massage - A traditional Japanese massage where massage therapists use their fingers and palms to locate and give attention to areas with stress or stiffness. Shiatsu uses squeezing, rubbing, and pressure techniques. Shiatsu is used to reach the harmony of chi in the human body.
Senior Massages - similar to regular massage with greater aware of the elderly body and careful positioning of the body. The cleint is rarely asked to move once positioned.
